Hi, I’m Nickolas Ellis, a 19-year-old racing driver from the Isle of Man, chasing the dream of becoming a world-class driver while serving as an ambassador for the sport, inspiring others both on and off the track.
My passion for motorsport began in my family home, once owned by F1 World Champion Nigel Mansell (CBE), where a lifelong dream took shape. Today, I’m proud to see that dream coming true as I follow in his footsteps, serving as the first-ever UK Youth Ambassador under his presidency for one of the UK’s largest youth organisations, as well as being named an #iWill Champion and the first Ambassador for the Just Dream Movement, inspiring young people worldwide.
I first proved my determination and discipline for excellence on the open sea, winning Gold at the RS Tera World Championships in sailing, before bringing that same drive to the racetrack. A self-confessed late starter in motorsport, I began at 14. I quickly earned multiple podiums, a Driver of the Year award, and was featured in the Amazon Prime docuseries Driven Dreams as a UK ambassador for grassroots karting.

In 2023, I relocated to England to compete in the British Karting Championship, followed by a season in the prestigious Ginetta Junior Championship in 2024, a launchpad for world-class drivers such as Lando Norris. This journey has led me to join Trajectus Motorsport, an elite team guided by three-time Le Mans winner and World Endurance Champion Benoît Tréluyer.
After dedicating 2025 to my A Levels, achieving top marks while continuing my ambassadorial commitments, I made my dream comeback, winning the 6 Hours of Le Mans (Ligier JS Cup France) with Jules Tréluyer for Trajectus Motorsport. A month later, I earned a podium finish in the Ligier European Series at Portimão, marking my official entry into endurance racing and the beginning of an exciting path toward 2026.
This defining season represents the next step toward my ultimate dream, competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. The road ahead will be challenging and exhilarating, but I’m going full throttle, driven by passion, guided by purpose, and powered by my exceptional team. I’m immensely grateful for their unwavering belief and support, which continue to drive me forward.
